How to Edit and Refine Voice AI Prompts in Sparkforge
Edit with AI lets you highlight a section of a Sparkforge Voice AI prompt and refine just that piece with a short instruction. Review the diff before accepting, discarding, or running another pass.
Voice AI prompts get long. When one section drifts off, rewriting the whole prompt is overkill. Edit with AI lets you highlight the part that needs work, describe the change in a short instruction, and apply only that update.
What Edit with AI does
You select text inside a Voice AI agent prompt, write a one-line instruction (for example, make this clearer or tighten the tool-trigger rules), and the model returns a revised version of just that selection. Sparkforge shows the diff so you can see exactly what changed before applying it.
How to edit a prompt section
- Open AI Agents > Voice AI and select the agent.
- In Agent Goals, open the prompt editor.
- Highlight the text you want to refine.
- Click Edit with AI.
- Type a short instruction, or click the microphone icon to dictate it (Chrome only).
- Click send to generate the update.
- Review the highlighted additions and removals.
- Click Accept changes, Discard, or run another refinement.
Tips for cleaner edits
- Keep instructions specific. Make the booking flow stricter beats improve this.
- Re-run refinements as many times as needed before accepting.
- Double-check custom variables, logic rules, and tool triggers in the diff before applying.
- For structural rewrites, edit one section at a time rather than the entire prompt.
What stays unchanged
Anything outside your highlighted selection is untouched. Tool definitions, agent goals, and other prompt sections keep their wording until you select and edit them directly.
