A Voice AI agent's voice shapes how callers perceive your business. Sparkforge gives you a built-in catalog and the option to import custom voices from ElevenLabs so you can match accent, language, and tone to your audience.

What you can do with voice customization

You can preview voices, compare them against the agent's current voice, and assign a new one in seconds. Imported ElevenLabs voices are available across every sub-account location under your agency.

  • Pick from 340+ catalog voices across 26+ languages.
  • Import up to 10 custom ElevenLabs voices per agency.
  • Preview side by side against the active voice.
  • Apply changes instantly with no redevelopment.

Browse and compare voices

Start in the built-in Library. Use filters to narrow by language, accent, gender, or quality, then preview options before assigning.

Filters

  • Language — 26+ languages, including voices that speak multiple.
  • Accent — American, British, Australian, and more.
  • Gender — filter or show all.
  • High Quality Only — toggle to show the most natural-sounding voices.
  • Search — type a voice name to jump directly.

Voice In-use banner

The Voice In-use banner pins the agent's current voice at the top of the selector. Click Play on the banner, then on any candidate card in Library or My Voices, to compare in real time.

How to change a Voice AI agent's voice

  1. From the left nav, choose AI Agents, then select the Voice AI tab.
  2. Click Agent List and open the agent you want to update.
  3. Click the in-use voice name to open Voice Selection. Use Listen to hear the active voice.
  4. Open the Library tab. Filter, preview, and click a voice card to select it. Click Save Voice.
  5. Click Save on the agent, then place a test call from the Test Your Agent widget.

Import a custom voice from ElevenLabs

Custom imports require agency-level access. Imports count toward a 10-voice cap and are non-deletable, so plan choices carefully.

  1. In Voice Selection, open the My Voices tab.
  2. Click Add Custom Voice. Browse ElevenLabs voices in the popup.
  3. To import a specific voice, copy its ElevenLabs Voice ID and paste it into the search bar.
  4. Select the voice and click Import Voice. Allow a few seconds for processing.
  5. Click Save Voice to assign it, then save the agent.

Limits to know

  • Up to 10 custom voices per agency.
  • Imports are shared across all sub-account locations.
  • Only agency-level users can import.
  • Imports cannot be deleted, so once at 10, the Add Custom Voice button is disabled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will changing the voice affect call scripts or intents?
No. Script logic, intents, and responses stay intact. Only the audible voice changes.
Are non-English voices available?
Yes. The catalog covers 26+ languages and several voices handle multiple languages.
Why is Add Custom Voice grayed out?
Your agency has hit the 10-import cap. Imports are non-deletable. Use existing imported voices or pick from the Library.
Why isn't my ElevenLabs voice showing after I paste the Voice ID?
Confirm the ID is valid and complete, and that you have agency-level access. If the import button is disabled, you've reached the 10-voice limit.
Do imported voices work for both inbound and outbound agents?
Yes. Library and imported voices work with both inbound and outbound Voice AI agents.
