Edit a Design Kit (Brand Board) in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

A Design Kit is the saved set of brand assets inside a Brand Board. Edit it to refresh colors, swap logos, or update typography — future pages and emails pick up the change; existing assets stay as saved.

What is a Design Kit

A Design Kit is the saved set of brand assets — colors, logos, and fonts — stored inside a Brand Board. Editors and pickers across Websites, Funnels, and Email read from the default Brand Board's Design Kit so you can build faster without recreating styles every time.

When the brand evolves, edit the Design Kit. New colors, logos, and fonts surface in pickers for future builds. Existing pages and emails keep the styling they were saved with.

When to edit your Design Kit

  • Logo refresh. Push a new logo so future emails and pages use it.
  • New palette or font. Add or swap colors and typefaces during a rebrand.
  • Minor tune-ups. Even small color or font changes belong on the Brand Board to keep editors in sync.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do edits update existing pages or emails automatically?
No. Edits affect what appears in pickers for future edits. Existing assets keep their saved styling until you manually update them.
Why don't my updated colors appear in the page or email picker?
Only the default Brand Board populates pickers. Set the right board as default and confirm your colors are saved on it.
Which color formats can I enter?
HEX and RGB. Toggle between them using the HEX or RGBA label at the bottom-left of the color picker.
Will updating my Brand Board change my Payment Links?
If your Payment Links use Brand Board theming, color updates can carry through. Otherwise, the links keep their current styling.
How do I switch which board the builders read from?
Set the desired board as Default. The default Brand Board controls which Design Kit assets surface in the pickers.
