Global Custom Colors for Brand Boards in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Global Custom Colors live in Brand Boards and sync two-way across every Sparkforge builder. Update once and the new color reflects everywhere it's used.

Global Custom Colors are brand colors stored in Sparkforge Global Settings under Brand Boards. Update a color once and every email, funnel, form, and page that uses it updates with you.

How they differ from Design Kit Colors

  • Design Kit Colors: static, quick-access swatches in the design builder. Updating them does not change existing designs.
  • Global Custom Colors: stored at the brand level. Two-way synced. Update once and existing assets update with you.

Why use them

  • Consistency: the same brand color everywhere it's used
  • Time savings: rebrands take minutes, not days
  • Easy rebranding: agencies can clone and rebrand subaccount assets by updating one color
  • Always in reach: Global Custom Colors appear in every color picker
  • Quick import: bring in existing custom values to jump-start setup

Set up Global Custom Colors

1. Open Global Settings

Go to Marketing → Brand Boards → Global Settings.

2. Add or manage colors

  • Add New Color — give it a name and hex code
  • Edit — update color details any time; changes propagate
  • Delete — remove unused colors

3. Import colors

Pull in existing custom values to populate your palette quickly.

4. Use in builders

Open any color picker (email, funnel, form, page) and your Global Custom Colors are already there. Pick one and the asset stays linked to that color.

Tips

  • Name colors by role (Primary, Accent, Surface) instead of by hue. It survives rebrands.
  • Audit unused colors quarterly so the palette stays useful.
  • For agencies, document the palette in a brand guide so subaccount editors don't add one-off colors.
