Import Facebook Lead Ads Into Sparkforge Manually

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Download leads from Business Suite as CSV within 90 days, import them into Sparkforge Contacts, map the fields, and tag the batch into a workflow or campaign.

If your Facebook ad account is not connected to Sparkforge, you can still pull lead-ad submissions in by exporting a CSV from Meta Business Suite and importing it. Lead data expires 90 days after submission, so do not let exports pile up.

Export leads from Business Suite

  1. Open Meta Business Suite.
  2. Click More Tools in the menu, then Instant Forms.
  3. Click Download next to the form you want.
  4. Choose Download New Leads (everything since the last export) or Download by Date Range.
  5. Pick a date range if prompted and click Download.
  6. Click CSV to download the file.

If Ad ID or Ad Set ID columns are missing

  • The lead came from organic reach, not a paid ad.
  • The lead was submitted through an ad preview.
  • You do not have advertiser privileges on the ad account.

If the download itself fails

Check Leads Access Manager with the Business Manager admin. Without customized permissions, only Facebook Page admins can download leads. With customization, only assigned users can.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have to download Facebook lead ad leads?
90 days from the time the lead submits the form. After that, the lead expires from Business Suite and cannot be exported.
Why are Ad ID and Ad Set ID missing from my CSV?
Either the lead came from organic reach or an ad preview, or your Facebook account does not have advertiser privileges on the ad account.
Can I import the same CSV twice without creating duplicates?
Use the duplication strategy on the import wizard, or enable Sparkforge Contact Deduplication on email or phone before running the import.
Can the import auto-add contacts to a workflow?
Yes. In the new UI toggle Add To Workflow/Campaign on the Details step. In the old UI, tag the import and use the bulk Add To Campaign/Workflow action.
