By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Delete a sub-account from Agency View → Sub-Accounts → Manage Client → Actions → Delete. You have a 24-hour grace period to undo. After 24 hours, all data, contacts, numbers, and A2P campaigns are permanently lost.

Deleting a sub-account in Sparkforge is permanent after 24 hours. Use this process when a client offboards, when duplicate accounts pile up, or when you need to remove sensitive data for compliance.

What a sub-account contains

A sub-account (also called a location) is an independent business or client workspace inside your agency. Each one has its own CRM, workflows, campaigns, integrations, and settings.

Before you delete

  • Permanent data loss — after 24 hours, all contacts, messages, campaigns, and settings are gone.
  • Phone numbers and A2P campaigns are lost — they can't be retrieved.
  • Disconnect integrations first — Twilio, Mailgun, Facebook, Google, and any others must be disconnected manually. Leftover integrations stop working immediately on deletion.
  • Client Portal stops working — the Client Portal tied to the sub-account will not open after deletion.
  • Pause is the safe alternative — if you might need the account later, pause it instead. Pausing doesn't incur charges.

How to delete a sub-account

  1. Open Agency View → Subaccounts. Find the sub-account in the list.
  2. Click the three-dot menu → Manage Client.
  3. Click Actions (top right) → Delete.
  4. Acknowledge the disclaimers:
    1. You confirm you've discussed this with the client and have authority to act.
    2. You understand the action is irreversible and all data will be lost.
    3. You confirm closing the Sparkforge Phone account, which deletes all numbers and A2P campaigns permanently.
  5. 24-hour reversal window opens. A notification appears on the Sub-Accounts page with a Click here to undo link.

The 24-hour reversal period

For 24 hours after scheduling, you can undo the deletion from the Sub-Accounts page notification. After 24 hours, the deletion is final.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover a sub-account after 24 hours?
No. The 24-hour grace period is the only window to reverse a deletion. After it passes, all data, numbers, and A2P campaigns are permanently lost.
Should I pause or delete a sub-account?
Pause if there's any chance you'll need it again — pausing is free and reversible. Delete only when you're certain the data and phone numbers are no longer needed.
Does pausing a sub-account cost anything?
No. A paused sub-account does not incur charges.
What happens to integrations like Twilio and Mailgun when I delete?
Disconnect them manually before deletion. Any integrations left connected will stop working immediately, and you may continue to be billed by those providers.
Where do I delete a sub-account?
Agency View → Subaccounts → select the sub-account → three-dot menu → Manage Client → Actions → Delete.
