Sub-Account LaunchPad in Sparkforge: Guided Onboarding

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

LaunchPad is the in-app onboarding workspace for Sparkforge sub-accounts. It groups setup tasks by business outcome, plays short videos, and runs click-by-click product tours that auto-complete each action.

LaunchPad is Sparkforge's guided onboarding workspace. It centralizes the first setup tasks, walkthrough videos, and a Product Tour Guide so new users can get a sub-account configured without hunting through menus.

What LaunchPad does

LaunchPad opens automatically on first sign-in and stays available from the left menu. Content adapts to the signed-in role, so Agency Owners, Admins, and Users only see the tasks they have permission to complete.

Setup grouped by outcome

Tasks are organized around the result they unlock, not the menu they live under:

  • Foundational setup — contacts, business details, branding, hours, calendars.
  • Marketing and lead generation — funnels, forms, first campaigns.
  • Sales and conversations — email, SMS, phone, pipelines.
  • Website and monetization — domain, sites, payments, memberships.
  • E-commerce — products, checkout, taxes, fulfillment.

Guided videos and Product Tour Guide

Every action ships with built-in guidance. Short videos play with Picture-in-Picture so they stay visible while you work. The Product Tour Guide overlays click-by-click prompts on the live screen, validates each step, and marks the LaunchPad action complete when the tour finishes.

Tours respect the signed-in user's permissions. If a step requires access the user does not have, the tour surfaces an error and pauses until the role is updated.

How to use LaunchPad

  1. Open the sub-account and click LaunchPad in the left menu.
  2. Pick the most relevant action (for example, connect payments or set up calendars).
  3. Watch the inline video, or follow the Product Tour Guide highlights step by step.
  4. Return to LaunchPad to see updated progress and choose the next action.

Tips for agencies

  • Finish a tour fully before navigating away so the action gets marked complete.
  • Confirm prerequisites (domain, phone number) exist in the sub-account before starting tours that depend on them.
  • Use LaunchPad during training calls — screen share plus a tour becomes a repeatable onboarding playbook.

Progress tracking

LaunchPad shows what is finished and what is next. Some actions auto-complete the moment the underlying setting saves (such as connecting payments). You can close LaunchPad at any time and reopen it later from navigation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't I see LaunchPad in my sub-account?
Use global search to look for it first. If it still does not appear, an admin should check Sub-Account Settings > Features and Limits for the LaunchPad toggle, your user role permissions, and SaaS plan settings if the account is on a SaaS plan.
Which roles can complete admin setup tasks?
Admin-level actions require admin permissions. Users without those permissions either won't see the items or won't be able to complete them inside the tour.
Does LaunchPad change my existing automations?
No. LaunchPad provides guidance and shortcuts. It only modifies your account when you finish a setup task that you would have configured manually anyway.
What is the difference between Agency and Sub-Account LaunchPad?
The Agency view focuses on agency-level configuration. The Sub-Account view focuses on operational setup inside a single location.
Can I dismiss LaunchPad and reopen it later?
Yes. Close it during a session and reopen it any time from the left navigation. Progress is preserved per user.
