How to Add Email Templates to the Template Library in Sparkforge
Save email templates to the Template Library so your agency and sub-accounts can reuse them. Add a name, category, cover photo, and tags, then publish or keep as draft.
The Template Library keeps your reusable email templates in one searchable place. Once saved, templates carry over to sub-accounts and stay consistent across campaigns.
Why use the Template Library
- Quick access: find templates without digging through individual campaigns.
- Brand consistency: reuse the same layout across emails.
- Faster updates: tweak once, reuse everywhere going forward.
- Team sharing: share templates across sub-accounts.
- Performance tracking: built-in analytics on template usage.
Add a template to the library
- Go to Email Marketing.
- Open the list view for the email asset you want to save.
- Click the three-dot menu on the asset and choose Add to Template Library.
- Enter a template name and pick one category.
- You will be redirected to Template Library Admin mode. Add a cover photo, tags, a brief description, predefined requirements (for example, "Integrate Stripe to use the one-step order form"), and any featured tags.
- Set the template to Public to make it available to sub-accounts, or leave it as Draft to keep it visible only inside the admin panel for further edits.
Library views
Sub-accounts see published templates in their own Template Library view. Agency users see the full admin view with edit controls.
Important details
Who can add or edit templates?
Agency admins can add templates from any sub-account and manage them centrally.
Which plans support custom templates?
Adding your own templates to the Template Library is available on the higher-tier agency plan and above.
How are template updates handled?
Drafts stay in sync with element changes automatically. Public templates do not auto-update with new elements yet — that is a planned future release.
Can I hide or edit existing library templates?
Hiding or editing templates that are already in the library is not supported. Clone the template to create an editable copy. Existing tags and categories are also locked once published.
