Funnel and Stage Distribution Widgets in Sparkforge Dashboards
The Funnel widget shows opportunities cumulatively from each stage forward (including all WON deals), while the Stage Distribution widget shows OPEN opportunities at each stage with WON and LOST broken out separately. Both require Dashboard Stats permission and the matching pipeline toggle.
Sparkforge dashboards include two pipeline widgets: Funnel and Stage Distribution. They look similar but count opportunities differently. Pick the right one based on the question you're trying to answer.
Funnel Widget
The Funnel widget shows a step-by-step view of how opportunities move through a pipeline. Each section represents a stage, plus a final WON section.
Requirements
- Dashboard Stats permission must be enabled for the user.
- Visible in Funnel Chart must be toggled on in Pipeline Settings.
- Counts use
last_status_change_date, not the created date.
How counts work
Each section shows the number of opportunities from that stage onward, plus all WON opportunities in the pipeline.
Example pipeline:

The widget renders 6 sections (5 stages plus WON). The Registered section shows 272 — every opportunity in the pipeline at any status (open, lost, won, abandoned). Trial Purchased shows 43 (4 + 32 + 7 + 0 + 4 WON). Each later section drops the prior stage's count but always includes WON.
Formula
Section count = opportunities from current stage to last stage + all WON opportunities in the pipeline
Conversion math
- Cumulative conversion — opportunities that completed every stage in the widget.
- Next-step conversion — conversion from the previous stage only.
Revenue is calculated the same way for each section.
Stage Distribution Widget
Stage Distribution shows the number of OPEN opportunities at each stage. WON and LOST are shown separately. The conversion rate is the percentage of opportunities that reached each specific stage.
Requirements
- Dashboard Stats permission enabled.
- Visible in Pie Chart toggled on in Pipeline Settings.
Both widgets include a dropdown to switch between funnels.
