How to Create and Add Dashboard Widgets in Sparkforge
Open your Sparkforge dashboard, click Add Widget, choose a chart type and category, set metrics and filters, then save. Repeat for each metric you want to track.
Adding widgets to your Sparkforge dashboard puts the metrics you check daily — leads, appointments, revenue, call volume — into one view.
Add widgets to your dashboard
Step 1: Open the dashboard
Sign in and click Dashboard in the left menu. You'll land on the default dashboard for the sub-account.
Step 2: Add a new dashboard (optional)
To build a fresh dashboard instead of editing the default, click Add Dashboard, choose Select a Blank Dashboard, and name it (e.g., "Sales Dashboard").
Set visibility to Private (just you) or For Everyone (all users). For shared dashboards, you can grant Full, Edit, View, or No access per role — Agency users, Agency admins, or Sub-account admins. Click Confirm.
Step 3: Open the widget menu
Click Add Widget on a blank dashboard, or the pencil icon on an existing one. The widget menu opens on the right.
Step 4: Pick a chart type and category
- Choose your chart: Numeric, Donut, Line, Bar, Horizontal Bar, or Table.
- Pick a category based on the data — Contacts, Appointments, Opportunity, Visitor Data, Emails, Calls, Conversations, or General.
Step 5: Configure the widget
In the Configure tab, set the chart type, title, and description. The chart type picker lives inside widget settings, so you don't need to leave the flow.
Step 6: Apply filters
Switch to the Conditions tab.
- Click Add Filter to start the first group.
- Use +AND to add filters inside the same group (narrows results).
- Click +Add Filter again to start a new group (creates an OR condition between groups).
- You can reuse the same field across groups (e.g., Source = google OR Source = facebook).
Attribution fields: If you use Session Source or Session Medium in Group By or View By (donut and line charts), you can only have one filter group, and it must include Attribution Type (First Touch or Last Touch). Multiple groups will disable attribution fields in the dropdown.
Step 7: Save
Click Save to add the widget.
Steps 8-10: Add more, organize, and save
Repeat for each widget you want. Drag to reposition, drag corners to resize, then click Save Changes at the top of the dashboard to commit.
Tips
- Try different chart types — bar charts compare, line charts show trends, donuts show proportions.
- Use filters to refine widgets so each one answers a specific question.
- Revisit your dashboard quarterly as your business priorities shift.
