Custom Object Widgets for Sparkforge Dashboards
Custom Object Widgets put your Sparkforge Custom Objects — pets, properties, cases, anything you track — into dashboard charts using Count, Sum, and Average metrics across six chart types.
Custom Object Widgets bring the records you defined in Sub-Account Settings — Pets, Properties, Cases, Vehicles, whatever your business tracks — into Sparkforge dashboards as live charts. Mix them with Contact and Opportunity widgets so one dashboard answers the questions standard CRM objects cannot.
What you can build
- Tailored metrics for non-standard records, like average pet age or case count by stage.
- Centralized reporting that combines Contact, Opportunity, and Custom Object data on one board.
- Flexible charts across Numeric, Line, Bar, Horizontal Bar, Donut, and Table.
- Reusable filters using dashboard Quick Filters or widget-level filters.
- Permission-aware sharing that respects existing dashboard roles.
Metrics and chart types
- Metrics: Count, Sum, Average.
- Charts: Numeric, Table, Bar, Horizontal Bar, Line, Donut.
A recommended chart type is pre-selected when you add a widget, and you can change it from the chart picker at any time. Tables can show multiple fields as columns; charts use eligible fields for grouping.
Permissions
Existing dashboard roles — VIEW, EDIT, FULL, NO ACCESS — apply to Custom Object Widgets. Editors can change chart type, metric, filters, and theme. Viewers can interact with Quick Filters. Use the three-dot menu to duplicate or further configure a widget without affecting the original.
How to add a Custom Object Widget

- Click Edit (pencil) → Add Widget.
- Choose the chart type, scroll to the Custom Objects section, and pick the metric you want.
- Apply filters (date range, category, custom field) and pick a theme.
- Click Save. The widget begins streaming data.
Add to a custom report
