How Customers Use the Sparkforge Client Portal
The Client Portal is one login where your customers access membership courses, community groups, and affiliate dashboards. They sign up with name, email, and a password, verify by code, then jump between apps from a single account switcher.
The Client Portal gives your customers one login for everything you sell them: membership courses, community groups, and the affiliate dashboard. This page covers signup, login methods, and what they see once they’re in.
What the Client Portal Is
It’s a single hub where customers can review their history with you, track affiliate commissions, access courses they’ve purchased, and join community groups — without juggling separate logins for each child app.
Who Needs to Sign Up
Only customers who don’t already have access to a child app (Membership Courses, Affiliate Manager, Communities). If they’ve previously been granted access, the same credentials work for the Client Portal — no second signup.
Account Creation Rules
If your business profile allows duplicate contacts, the same email can register multiple times and each registration creates a distinct user account. If duplicates are blocked, the system prevents a second account on the same email. Decide which behavior you want before you onboard customers.
How Signup Works
- Customer enters name, email, and password.
- System emails a verification code (good for 15 minutes).
- Customer enters the code to authenticate.
- They log in with the password they chose.
Tell customers to check spam if the code doesn’t arrive within a minute or two.
Login Options
- Password login — standard email + password.
- Email verification — a secure, time-limited code is emailed instead of using a password. Useful if they forget their password.
If multiple accounts share an email, the login screen shows a picker so the customer chooses the correct one.
Inside the Portal
Once logged in, the app switcher lives top-right. One click drops a list of every app the customer has access to — courses, communities, affiliate — and they jump between them without re-authenticating.
Profile completion (name, email, contact details) is required for the experience to work cleanly across child apps.
Note on Magic Links
Newly created locations don’t support magic links inside the Client Portal yet. Existing locations still have them. This will roll out to new locations later.
