How to Hide Individual Templates from Sub-Accounts

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

There is no per-template hide switch. Create a category in the Agency Template Library, mark the category as hidden, and move templates into it. Anything inside a hidden category is invisible to sub-accounts.

The Agency Template Library does not let you hide a single template directly. Instead, you put templates into a category and hide the entire category from sub-accounts.

Hide a template by category

  1. Go to Agency > Template Library.
  2. Click the gear icon to open Template Library Admin Settings.
  3. Pick a product (for example, Funnels).
  4. Click Categories > Create Category. Use a clear name like HIDDEN Funnels and a description such as Funnel templates not visible to sub-accounts.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Find the new category in the list and click the Hide toggle so it turns blue. Confirm if prompted.
  7. Move the templates you want hidden into that category. They must not also live in any unhidden category.

Verify the result

  1. Open a sub-account.
  2. Go to the relevant product (for example, Funnels > New Funnel > from Templates).
  3. Confirm the hidden category does not appear in the sub-account’s category list.
  4. Search the All Templates view by name to confirm the template is not listed.

In the Agency view, the template preview should display a grey box with This template is hidden for all your sub-accounts. If that label is missing, the template is still visible somewhere.

What to watch for

  • A template appearing in any unhidden category remains visible.
  • Hiding a category hides every template inside it.
  • You can use multiple hidden categories to organize what stays internal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hide one template directly?
Not at the template level. Place the template in a hidden category and remove it from any visible category.
How do I confirm a template is hidden?
In the Agency view, the template preview shows a grey box reading 'This template is hidden for all your sub-accounts.' If the label is missing, the template is still surfaced somewhere.
Will the hidden category appear in sub-accounts?
No. The category and everything inside it are removed from the sub-account category list and search.
Can a template live in both a hidden and a visible category?
If it does, it remains visible. Templates must live only in hidden categories to be removed from sub-account view.
