How to Hide Email Elements on Mobile View in Sparkforge
Hover any element in the Sparkforge drag-and-drop email builder to reveal hide-on-mobile and hide-on-desktop toggles. Save, preview, and send a test to confirm rendering.
Mobile email screens are tight. Hiding heavy images, decorative columns, or signoff blocks on mobile keeps the message readable without sacrificing the desktop design.
Hide an element on mobile or desktop
- Open the email template or campaign in the drag-and-drop editor.
- Hover an element. Action icons appear, including hide-on-mobile and hide-on-desktop toggles.
- Click the icon for the device you want to hide the element on.
- Save the template or campaign.
Preview and test
Use the editor's preview to switch between desktop and mobile views, then send a test email to a real device. Real-device tests catch rendering quirks that the preview cannot show.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I hide an element on mobile and a different one on desktop?
Yes. Each element has independent hide toggles for mobile and desktop, so you can build different layouts per device.
Will hidden elements still load?
They are suppressed via CSS so most clients will not render them. Some legacy clients ignore the rule and show everything regardless.
Where are the hide controls?
Hover the element in the editor. The hide-on-mobile and hide-on-desktop icons appear alongside edit and delete.
Do I have to save before previewing?
Yes. Preview reads the saved state, so save first, then open preview or send a test.
