How to Duplicate Widgets on a Sparkforge Dashboard

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Use the Duplicate Widget option in a Sparkforge dashboard to copy any widget, tweak the settings, and save it as a new one. Faster than rebuilding from scratch.

The Duplicate Widget option in Sparkforge dashboards lets you copy an existing widget instead of building a new one from scratch. It’s useful when several widgets share most of the same configuration—clone, tweak, save.

Step 1: Enter Edit Mode

  1. Open the dashboard you want to update.
  2. Click Edit to enter edit mode.

Step 2: Duplicate the Widget

  1. Find the widget you want to copy.
  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the widget card.
  3. Select Duplicate.

A copy of the widget appears on the dashboard with the same configuration as the original.

Step 3: Customize and Save

Edit the duplicate’s metric, filters, or display settings, then click Save to commit the changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Duplicate option?
Open the dashboard in edit mode, click the three-dot menu on the widget card, and choose Duplicate.
Does duplicating copy every setting?
Yes. The new widget inherits the original’s configuration—metric, filters, layout—so you only edit what changes.
Can I duplicate a widget across dashboards?
Duplicate creates a copy on the same dashboard. Move or rebuild it on another dashboard if you need it elsewhere.
