The Sparkforge Courses mobile app has a redesigned lessons UI with inline category navigation, a new comments section, status tracking on quizzes, and a single login that covers both Courses and Communities.

What changed in the lessons UI

Inline category and lesson navigation

Switch between categories and lessons on the same screen. Expand a category to drill into its lessons, or collapse it for a higher-level view of the course. No more bouncing back and forth between screens.

Lesson playback for every format

Text lessons reflow for any screen size.
Audio lessons use a cleaner playback control set.
Video lessons support full-screen viewing and a responsive layout.

Redesigned comments

The comments section now supports threaded replies on individual comments and a layout tuned for readability on mobile.

Quizzes and assignments

Question switching no longer crops content. Quiz and assignment screens are easier to scan, and a status tracker shows whether each item is in review, passed, or needs improvement. Status colors are consistent across the app.

Loading shimmers

Spinner-style loaders are replaced with shimmering placeholders that match the destination layout, so the screen feels stable while content loads.

Performance and code changes

Under the hood the app has been moved to the Vue 3 composition API and large pages have been split into smaller, lazy-loaded components. The result is a smaller initial bundle and faster cold start.

Unified login and bottom navigation

One login now covers every Community and Course you have joined. After signing in, use the bottom navigation bar to switch between Courses and Communities in a single tap. The group switcher is faster and cleaner for moving between joined spaces.

How to get the new UI

Open the app store on your phone and update the Sparkforge Courses mobile app to the latest version.
Sign in with your existing credentials.
Use the bottom navigation to move between Courses and Communities.
Open a course to see the new lesson, comment, and quiz layouts.

Do I need to log in again after updating the app?

Yes. After updating, sign in once and the unified login gives you access to every Community and Course you have joined.

Where do I switch between Courses and Communities?

Use the bottom navigation bar inside the app. One tap moves you between the Courses view and the Communities view.

Why are some quizzes showing a colored status?

The new status tracker color-codes each quiz or assignment as in review, passed, or needs improvement so you can see your standing at a glance.
