Course Notifications: Comments, Released Posts, Drip Content

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge sends learners and instructors in-app, email, and optional push notifications for course comments, newly released posts, and drip content. Push is enabled in the Client Portal notification settings.

Course Notifications keep learners and instructors in sync. You'll see in-app alerts in the Client Portal bell icon, plus email and optional push notifications.

Comment replies

When someone replies to a comment you posted in a course, you get an instant notification. Replies show up in the Client Portal bell icon and trigger an email by default. Mobile users with push enabled get a push notification too.

For instructors, learner comments hit the same notification stream, making it easier to keep up with discussion threads as they develop.

Newly released content

When a previously locked post or category becomes accessible, learners get an immediate notification. No more checking back manually to see if a section opened up.

Drip content releases

Drip content paces learning, but waiting in the dark is frustrating. The moment new drip content releases, learners get a notification so they can jump straight in.

Enable push notifications

  1. Open the Client Portal.
  2. Click your profile icon in the top right and choose Manage Your Account.
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Turn Push on for the notification types you want. Toggle Email on or off here too.
