Connect Google Ads to Sparkforge Ad Manager

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

To run Google Ads from Sparkforge, subscribe to Ad Manager from the sub-account, click Connect Google, approve all permissions, and select an eligible Google Ads account from the dropdown.

Sparkforge Ad Manager publishes Google ad campaigns from inside the platform. Before you can launch a campaign, the sub-account needs an Ad Manager subscription and a connected Google Ads account.

Subscribe to Ad Manager

Subscription is per sub-account. The agency sets the reselling price under Agency > Reselling, then the sub-account activates.

  1. Open the sub-account.
  2. Go to Marketing > Ad Manager.
  3. Click Activate Ad Manager.
  4. Click Pay and Subscribe. Stripe processes the payment between the client's card and the agency's Stripe account, then routes the user into the Ad Manager onboarding flow.

This is a monthly subscription fee that lets the sub-account publish unlimited campaigns. Actual ad spend is billed separately by Meta or Google to the card on file in the connected ad account.

Grant team permissions

Go to Settings > Teams, edit the staff member, and enable the Ad Manager checkbox under roles and permissions.

Discount or comp the subscription

Agencies can offer Ad Manager free or at a custom price to specific sub-accounts. The Ad Manager reselling settings handle this.

Connect Google Ads

  1. From the Ad Manager onboarding screen, click Connect Google.
  2. Select your Google account and approve every requested permission. Sparkforge needs all of them — denying any one will break campaign publishing.
  3. The Select Ad Account dropdown lists every Google Ads account linked to the connected Google login.
  4. Pick an eligible ad account.
  5. Click Get Started.

You can connect one Google Ads account per Ad Manager instance. To switch ad accounts later, disconnect and reconnect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Sparkforge need every Google permission?
Ad Manager publishes, edits, and reports on campaigns through the Google Ads API. Denying any single permission can break parts of campaign creation, reporting, or audience sync.
Can I connect more than one Google Ads account?
No. Ad Manager supports one connected Google Ads account at a time. Disconnect and reconnect to switch.
Who pays for the actual ad spend?
Google charges the card on file in the connected Google Ads account once a campaign is approved and live. The Sparkforge subscription only covers Ad Manager itself.
Can my staff manage Ad Manager?
Yes. Enable the Ad Manager permission for the team member under Settings > Teams > edit the user.
