How to Edit Default Email Templates in the Sparkforge Client Portal
Client Portal Owners can convert any default Client Portal email into an editable copy, customize content with merge fields, preview the result, and activate it as the live template for that notification.
Client Portal default emails — for Documents & Contracts, Courses, Certificates, and more — start out locked. The Edit Default Email Templates capability turns any default into an editable copy you can customize, preview, and set as the active template.
What this does
The feature lets Client Portal Owners convert a system default email into an editable template, tailor the content, and activate it for the matching notification. You keep the original layout and refine tone, branding, and merge fields without rebuilding from scratch.
What you get
- Speed — convert any default into an editable template instantly.
- Consistency — keep the existing layout while refining tone and content.
- Personalization — use merge fields and custom values for dynamic details.
- Accuracy — preview with custom fields so you see what contacts will see.
- Control — apply per-notification edits across supported Client Portal apps.
