Client Portal Dashboard in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The client portal dashboard shows who you've invited and who has joined, and lets you generate magic links, invite new users, or send a one-click login email.

The client portal dashboard gives you an overview of every contact invited to your client portal, who has actually joined, and a short list of actions to get them logged in.

Client portal URL

Copy your client portal URL from the dashboard and share it with clients. The URL updates automatically when you change your custom domain.

Invited users vs. joined users

Invited users is the count of contacts you've sent an invite to using the action menu. Joined users is the count of contacts who actually signed in and activated their account.

Three actions per contact

1. Magic link

Magic links log a contact straight into the portal without entering a password. Useful for one-off email or SMS sends.

Note: Magic links are generated per contact and expire quickly. For workflow-triggered emails, use the magic link custom value so the link is built fresh each send. If a client says the link is dead, generate a new one.

2. Invite to client portal

Click Invite to add a new user. Pick an existing contact or type an email address. The invite goes from your default sending domain.

3. Login email

Login email sends an automated message with a one-click sign-in button — no password required. Select multiple contacts to send in bulk.
