How to Build Carousel Ads in Sparkforge Ad Manager
Carousel ads in Sparkforge Ad Manager let you ship up to 10 swipeable images or videos in a single Facebook ad. Pick the Carousel media type during campaign creation, upload your assets, and give every card a headline before you publish.
Sparkforge Ad Manager supports two media formats for paid social: Single and Carousel. A carousel lets viewers swipe through up to 10 cards in one ad unit, each with its own image or video, headline, description, and link. This article walks through when to use carousels and how to build one.
Why use carousel ads
Carousels do a few things static ads cannot:
- Higher engagement. Swiping is an active interaction, which keeps users on the ad longer.
- Better click-through. Multiple offers in one impression give users more reasons to tap.
- Mobile-native. The swipe pattern matches how people already use Facebook on phones.
- Lower CPC. Showcasing several products in one ad often costs less than running each as a separate single-image ad.
Build a carousel ad
- In Ad Manager, start a new campaign and reach the Ad Content step.
- Under Media Type, select the Carousel radio button.
- Click Upload Media. The Media Library opens. Multi-select up to 10 images or videos and click Insert Files.
- Add a Headline and Description for each card. Headline is required. The campaign will throw an error on publish if any card is missing one.
- Drag cards to reorder them. The order in the editor is the order viewers will swipe through.
- For video cards, click the uploaded video and select a custom Thumbnail.
- To remove a card, click its icon and click the trash can.
- Use the Preview panel to confirm how the ad will render before publishing.
- On Review and Publish, verify all media appears under Ad Content > Media, then publish.
Limits and rules
- 10 cards maximum per carousel.
- Every card needs a headline, or the campaign will not publish.
- Cards can mix images and videos in the same carousel.
