Campaigns Are Retired — Move to Workflows in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge no longer maintains the old Campaigns feature. New Campaigns and Triggers can't be created, support is gone, and the Campaigns/Triggers tabs are removed from the CRM. Rebuild in Workflows.

Campaigns is retired. Workflows is the supported automation builder going forward, and it covers everything Campaigns did plus multi-step branching, conditional logic, and richer triggers.

What changed

  • You can't create new Campaigns or Triggers (effective 15 April 2024).
  • Support and bug fixes for Campaigns and Triggers stopped on the same date.
  • The Campaigns and Triggers tabs no longer appear in the CRM nav.

What to do

Rebuild any Campaigns automation as a Workflow. The same trigger ideas (form submitted, contact tag added, appointment booked) all exist in Workflows, with more options for branching and follow-up actions.

Why Workflows wins

  • Multi-channel actions (email, SMS, voice, internal notification, webhook) in one canvas.
  • IF/ELSE logic on contact fields, custom values, and event metadata.
  • Wait steps, goal events, and re-entry rules.
  • Test mode and execution logs to debug live runs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I keep my existing Campaigns running?
No. The Campaigns and Triggers tabs are removed and the runtime is no longer maintained. Rebuild in Workflows.
Is there an automatic Campaigns-to-Workflows converter?
No. Recreate the logic manually in Workflows. Most Campaigns are simple enough to rebuild in a few minutes.
Will my contacts already in a Campaign keep getting messages?
Don't rely on it. Treat the Campaign as deprecated and migrate contacts into a new Workflow that picks up where the Campaign left off.
