How to Create, Edit, and Assign Add-ons in Sparkforge Services
Add-ons in Sparkforge Services let customers attach optional extras to a service at booking. Create them once, assign per service, and use quantity-based pricing and duration to handle upsells cleanly.
Add-ons are optional extras attached to a service so customers can personalize their booking. They can be supplementary services or related products and may affect total time and price.
What add-ons are
Add-ons let you offer upgrades or extras at the moment of booking. A few examples:
- A spa offering an Aromatherapy Upgrade on a massage.
- A trainer offering Nutritional Consultation alongside a workout plan.
- A photographer offering Additional Edited Photos with a photoshoot package.
Add-ons increase per-booking revenue and let customers shape the service to fit them.
Why use add-ons
- Upsell at booking: capture more revenue without manual follow-up.
- Personalized bookings: customers pick the extras they actually want.
- Transparent pricing: quantity-based pricing calculates total cost at checkout.
- Service-specific relevance: add-ons only show on the services they're assigned to.
- Faster setup: create once, assign anywhere it applies.
Where to create add-ons
Two paths:
- Add-ons tab: a centralized list across services.
- Inside a service: any add-on you create here is auto-assigned to that service.
Assigning add-ons to services
Creating an add-on doesn't make it appear everywhere. Assign it to each service where it should show up.
- One add-on can link to many services.
- Add-ons only appear on booking pages for services they're linked to.
- Customers see add-ons as optional extras during booking.
