Set a Campaign Budget in Sparkforge Ad Manager

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge Ad Manager supports daily and lifetime campaign budgets. Daily budgets average across a 7-day window; lifetime budgets spread across the run. Once a campaign is Published or In Review, the budget is locked.

Campaign budgets are set on step 2 of the Ad Manager campaign flow. The amount you specify is charged by Meta against the card on the connected ad account, in the ad account's currency and the sub-account's timezone.

Once a campaign launches, it renews automatically each month. Pause or delete it to stop spending. Give a campaign a few months of runtime so Meta can optimize against your audience and conversions.

Daily budget

A daily budget is the average daily spend across a 7-day billing window. Some days will spend more, some less, but the 7-day total will not exceed 7× your daily amount.

Example

If your daily budget is $1,000, Meta might spend $1,100 one day and $900 the next, but the 7-day total will not exceed $7,000.

Set a daily budget

  1. Open New Campaign.
  2. Go to step 2, Budget and Audience.
  3. In the Budget section, select the Daily toggle.
  4. Enter the daily amount.
  5. Fill in the rest of the campaign and click Next to review.

Lifetime budget

A lifetime budget is a fixed cap across the entire run of the campaign. Meta paces spend across the date range you set. Use this when you have a hard total and flexibility on daily pacing.

Set a lifetime budget

  1. Open New Campaign.
  2. Go to step 2, Budget and Audience.
  3. In the Budget section, select the Lifetime toggle.
  4. Enter the total amount.
  5. Pick the campaign start and end date and time. The amount spreads across that window in the sub-account's local timezone.
  6. Click Next to review.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pick between daily and lifetime?
Daily is the average per day; lifetime caps the entire run. Use daily when you want consistent presence; use lifetime when you have a fixed total and a fixed window.
Can I edit the budget after the campaign launches?
Only when the campaign is Draft, Failed, or Paused. Once it's Published or In Review, the budget is locked.
Can I switch a campaign from daily to lifetime later?
Only while it's in Draft or Failed. Paused, Published, and In Review states cannot toggle between budget types.
What currency and timezone applies?
The currency of the connected Meta ad account and the timezone of the sub-account.
Why does Meta sometimes spend more than my daily budget on a given day?
Daily budgets are an average across a 7-day window. Meta may spend more on a high-opportunity day and less on a slow day, but the 7-day total stays at or under 7× your daily amount.
