How to Schedule WhatsApp Messages in Sparkforge
In Sparkforge Conversations, schedule WhatsApp templates for any future time, and schedule free-form messages within the 24-hour customer service window.
WhatsApp Schedule Send lets you queue messages to send later — both pre-approved templates and free-form replies inside the customer service window. Useful for time-zone-aligned sends, post-event follow-ups, and reminders.
Schedule a WhatsApp template
- Go to Conversations and select the contact.
- Pick WhatsApp and select the template.
- Click the schedule icon next to Send.
- Pick a future date and time and click Schedule Send.
Templates can be scheduled for any future time — there's no 24-hour cap because templates don't require an open service window.
Schedule a free-form WhatsApp message
Free-form messages can only be sent inside an active Customer Service Window — the 24-hour period that starts when a customer messages you.
- Go to Conversations and select the contact.
- Pick WhatsApp and type the free-form message.
- Click the schedule icon next to Send and pick a date and time.
- The schedule must fall within 24 hours of the customer's last inbound message.
- Click Schedule Send.
What is the Customer Service Window?
The Customer Service Window is a 24-hour period that opens when a customer sends you a WhatsApp message. During that window you can send free-form replies. Outside that window, only pre-approved templates can be sent.
Edits and confirmations
After scheduling, a confirmation appears in the chat with the scheduled timestamp. Scheduled messages cannot be edited — to change one, delete it and schedule a new one.
