Sell Sparkforge SaaS Plans with Stripe Checkout Pages
Build a Sparkforge SaaS plan, generate a Stripe payment link from the auto-created Stripe product, and wire that link to a funnel button. Customers check out on Stripe and the SaaS plan activates on payment.
Selling SaaS Mode plans through a Stripe Checkout page is an alternative to the two-step order form. It works when you want Stripe's hosted checkout experience (with features like trials, promo codes, and Apple Pay) instead of an embedded form. The setup chains four pieces: a SaaS plan, a Stripe payment link, a funnel button, and a save.
Step 1: Create the SaaS plan
If you have not configured SaaS Mode yet, walk through the SaaS Mode setup guide first. Once your custom SaaS plan is saved in Sparkforge, the platform automatically creates a matching product in your connected Stripe account.
Step 2: Build the funnel page
- Open Funnels and design the page that pitches your SaaS plans.
- From the top right, open the elements panel and drag a Button element onto the page.
Step 3: Generate a Stripe payment link
- Open your Stripe dashboard and click Products in the left nav.
- Open the product that matches the SaaS plan.
- On the right, click Create payment link.
- Customize as needed — for example, attach a 14-day free trial.
- At the top right, click Create a link, then copy the resulting URL.
Step 4: Configure the funnel button
- In the funnel, click the button you placed.
- On the left, in the General tab, scroll to Button Actions > Links to.
- Choose Open Pop up > Website URL and paste the Stripe payment link.
- Click Save.
When a visitor clicks the button, they go straight to the Stripe-hosted checkout. After successful payment, Stripe activates the subscription and the SaaS plan attaches to the sub-account.
When this beats the two-step order form
- You want trials, promo codes, or local payment methods that Stripe Checkout handles natively.
- You want the polished Stripe-hosted checkout look without embedding forms.
- You want minimal funnel-building work — paste a link and you are done.
When the two-step order form is better
- You want bumps, upsells, or order-form-style A/B tests.
- You want the entire transaction to stay on your funnel domain.
- You need form fields beyond what Stripe collects.
