How to Bulk Transfer Sub-Accounts to Another Agency in Sparkforge
Sparkforge's Bulk Location Transfer moves up to 1,000 sub-accounts to another agency at a time. Pages, calendars, automations, and contacts transfer; auth connections, Stripe, SaaS settings, and active subscriptions do not.
Bulk Location Transfer lets one agency hand a batch of sub-accounts off to another agency. Useful for acquisitions, agency splits, or moving white-label clients to a new operator. Up to 1,000 sub-accounts per request.
Send the transfer
Step 1: Open Sub-Account Transfers
- Log in to your agency account.
- Go to Agency Level > Sub-Accounts > Sub-Account Transfers.
- Click Bulk Transfer Subaccount.
- Click Proceed.
Step 2: Pick the sub-accounts
Two options:
- From the list — search and select, or use Select All (max 1,000 at a time).
- Enter Location IDs — paste IDs in comma-separated format:
12345,67890,54321.
Step 3: Enter the receiving agency's Relationship Number
Double-check the number — a wrong Relationship Number sends the request to the wrong agency.
Step 4: Confirm
Review the details, enter your password, and click Confirm. The receiving agency must approve before the transfer completes.
Track the request
- Open the Sent tab on the Sub-Account Transfers screen.
- Switch to Bulk Request.
- Click View Details on any request to see per-sub-account status.
Status definitions
- Completed — receiving agency accepted.
- Rejected — receiving agency declined.
- Pending — receiving agency hasn't acted.
- Failed — sub-account is non-transferable (HIPAA or SaaS restrictions).
The receiving agency must accept or reject the entire bulk request. Partial approval isn't supported.
Receiving agency steps
- Receive the email and in-app notification.
- Open the Received tab on Sub-Account Transfers.
- Click Take Action to see every sub-account in the request.
- Accept all or reject all.

- All automations, in their live state.
- Contacts, conversations, appointments, opportunities, and history.
- Workflow enrollments stay intact.
- Memberships access.
- Sub-account API keys (unchanged).

What does not transfer

- Facebook and Google integration settings — cleared.
- Sub-account-level Stripe fields — cleared.

- Mailgun and SMTP configurations.
- Active subscriptions (WordPress, Yext, WhatsApp, Dedicated IP, etc.) — must be cancelled before transfer.
Phone number transfer rules
Both agencies on Sparkforge
Phone numbers transfer automatically with the sub-account. A2P DLC registration status carries over — no need to re-register. Phone usage charges accrue to the receiving agency going forward.
Either agency on Twilio
No phone numbers transfer through Sparkforge. You're responsible for working with the previous owner and Twilio directly to move numbers.
Pre-transfer checklist
- Set users you want to keep as user type Account, assigned only to the sub-account being transferred.
- Disable SaaS mode on any SaaS sub-account.
- Cancel active subscriptions: WordPress, Yext, WhatsApp, Dedicated IP, etc.
Post-transfer setup
- Reconnect every auth integration (Google, Facebook, QuickBooks, Clio, DrChrono).
- Re-integrate Facebook and Google.
- Set up sub-account-level Stripe.
- Re-add Sparkforge Email, Mailgun/SMTP, and Twilio.
- Re-add domains.
- Re-enable SaaS on any SaaS sub-account.
