Sub-Account Transfer FAQ in Sparkforge
A sub-account transfer moves an entire location from one agency to another. It is not a merge and not partial. Both agencies sign forms, then verification and the actual move take up to 72 hours.
What a sub-account transfer is
A transfer picks up the entire sub-account and moves it from the From Agency to the To Agency. It is not a merge. There is no way to copy partial data or combine two sub-accounts into one.
How long it takes
Once both forms are submitted with correct information, verification and execution take up to 72 hours. The full clock depends on how fast the requestor and the From Agency owner complete the paperwork.
Process overview
- Requestor fills out the Sub-Account Transfer Requestor Form.
- The From Agency owner gets an email with a link to the Authorization Form.
- Owner completes the Authorization Form, confirming the same details plus credit card info on file.
- The platform team verifies and executes the transfer.
- Both agency owners receive completion emails.
What transfers
- Websites and funnels
- Sparkforge calendars (external calendar integrations are disconnected)
- Automation, in Live state
- Contacts, conversations, appointments, opportunities, and history
- Users assigned only to this sub-account with the Account user type
What does not transfer
- OAuth connections (Google, Facebook, Instagram, QuickBooks, Clio, DrChrono, Yext)
- Facebook and Google ad settings
- Sub-account-level Stripe fields
- SaaS settings
Eligibility rules
The sub-account must be in good standing. The receiving agency must be active and capable of supporting the plan. You cannot transfer a paused or churned sub-account.
Prep work before requesting
- Audit user assignments — only Account-type users assigned solely to this sub-account come along.
- Document any external integrations, since they will need reconnection.
- Note SaaS plan settings for re-application after transfer.
After the transfer
Reconnect Google, Facebook, and similar integrations. Reapply SaaS plan settings if needed. Update Stripe at the sub-account level. Notify users so they re-login under the new agency.
Tracking progress
Status updates flow through the support ticket created when the From Agency submits the Authorization Form. Reply on that ticket for status questions.
