How to Create QR Codes in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge includes a built-in QR Code Builder that creates branded codes for sites, forms, payments, calls, and SMS. Customize colors, shapes, and logos, then export as PNG, SVG, or PDF — or share a direct link.

Sparkforge ships a QR Code Builder inside every sub-account. Generate scan-ready codes that link to websites, funnels, review pages, payment links, forms, calls, or SMS, customize them to match your brand, and export in the format your channel needs.

What the QR Code Builder does

The builder creates a single QR code tied to a destination of your choice and gives you full control over its appearance. Common uses:

  • Website, funnel, or landing page links
  • Review request pages
  • Form, quiz, or survey submissions
  • Payment links
  • Click-to-call or pre-filled SMS

Codes can be customized with brand colors, shapes, logos, and rim text, then saved into folders for reuse.

How to generate a QR code

Step 1: Open QR Codes

  1. From the sub-account dashboard, open Sites in the left menu.
  2. In the upper navigation ribbon, click QR Codes.
  3. Click Create QR Code in the top right, or + Create New in the center of the screen.

Step 2: Name it and pick a type

  1. Enter a name for the QR code.
  2. Select the type (Website, Review Link, Funnel, Form, Quiz, Call, SMS, etc.).
  3. Paste the destination URL or input (phone number, review link, etc.).
  4. Click Next to start designing.

Sparkforge stores the destination as soon as you enter it, so you can scan and test the QR code from inside the builder before saving.

Step 3: Customize the design

  • QR Shape — square, rounded square, or circle
  • Background Color — the area behind the QR elements
  • Dot Color and Dot Style — classic, square, or rounded
  • Marker Border & Center — corner marker shape and color
  • Border and Frame — optional outer frame, with color control
  • Rim content — CTA text on the top or bottom of the code
  • Logo or Background Image — center logo (no logo, predefined logos like Google or YouTube, or your own upload). Background can be removed if needed.

Download, save, and share

Once the design is set, choose how to deliver the code:

  • PNG — websites, email, and digital assets
  • SVG — responsive or scalable layouts
  • PDF — print
  • Copyable link — share the QR code without downloading the image

Click Save to add the QR code to your QR Codes list without downloading.

Manage existing QR codes

  1. Open the QR Code dashboard.
  2. Hover over any code to reveal the action buttons.
  3. Click the blue Edit button to update destination or styling.
  4. Click the 3-dot icon to delete, move, or download.
  5. To organize, choose Move to Folder and pick the destination folder.

Cropped codes and transparent PNGs

If no background, header, or footer is set, the QR code is auto-trimmed for a cleaner look. To create a fully transparent PNG, drag the background color alpha slider to 0% — the code will overlay cleanly on any design.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can QR codes link to things other than websites?
Yes. Sparkforge QR codes can point to forms, surveys, funnels, review pages, payment links, click-to-call, pre-filled SMS, and more.
Which file format should I download?
PNG for general digital use, SVG for responsive or scalable design work, and PDF for print.
Can I edit a QR code after saving it?
Yes. Hover over the code in the QR Codes list and click the edit icon to change the destination or styling at any time.
Can I add my own logo to the center?
Yes. Upload a hosted logo image or pick from the predefined logos (Google, YouTube, etc.) under the Logo tab.
