How to Take Service Appointment Payments in the Sparkforge Mobile App
The Sparkforge mobile app POS is integrated with service calendars. Open the appointment in the Appointments tab to view the amount due, view or edit the invoice, and record payment via Tap to Pay, card, cash, or manual entry.
The Sparkforge mobile app integrates POS with service calendars so business owners can collect the balance on a service appointment from the appointment card itself. Tap to Pay, card, cash, and manual entry are all supported.
What's available in the mobile app
- View amount due — open the Appointments section, tap the service appointment card, and see the amount owed.
- View invoice — open the invoice from inside the event card and edit it to add line items if the service ran long or used extra materials.
- Record payment — collect the balance directly from the appointment using Tap to Pay, card, cash, or manual entry.
Set up the calendar to accept payments
- In Sparkforge web, open the service calendar's Forms and Payments section.

Why this matters
Service appointments often have a deposit at booking and a balance after the work is done. Bringing POS into the appointment card means the business owner collects the balance without switching apps or re-entering customer or service data.
Availability
Mobile app version 3.78.3 or later. Available in the Sparkforge app and white-labeled apps (white-label updates need to be requested).
