How to Sell Paid Courses Inside Sparkforge Communities

Paid Courses let community owners and admins charge for courses inside the community itself, instead of routing learners through a separate site. Pricing, payments, and access all live in the Learning Tab.

Add a paid course

1. Open your community as an owner or admin and go to the Learning Tab.
2. Click to add a new course and fill in the title, description, and content.
3. Set pricing: one-time fee or recurring subscription. Pick the currency that fits your audience.
4. Turn on Test Mode to run the checkout end-to-end with test card details before going live.

Manage existing courses

Reorder the course list

Use Move Courses on the Learning Page to drag courses into the order learners should hit them. Foundational content first, advanced last.

Email notifications

Successful payments and subscription cancellations trigger automatic email notifications to both you and the learner. No setup required.

Change pricing or payment terms

You can edit the fee, billing frequency (one-time or recurring), trial period, and currency at any time. Existing subscribers keep their original terms unless you migrate them.

Promote the course

Open the three-dot menu on a course and click Copy Link. Paste that URL into emails, social posts, or SMS campaigns to drive traffic straight to the course landing page.

What learners see

1. Visit the Learning Tab inside the community.
2. Browse available courses and review pricing and details.
3. Complete checkout. Access details and the receipt arrive by email.

Editing a course after launch

From the Learning Tab, find the course and select edit. You can change content, pricing, and payment settings. Changes apply going forward; existing learners keep their access on whatever terms they bought in on.
