How to Make Outbound Calls in the Sparkforge Mobile App

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The Sparkforge mobile app lets you place outbound calls from a contact, conversation, dialer, or your phone's native call button. Take notes, log tasks, schedule follow-ups, and transfer calls without leaving the call screen.

The Sparkforge mobile app turns your phone into a working CRM. You can dial from a contact, a conversation, the floating dialer, or your phone's native call button — and during the call you can take notes, schedule follow-ups, log payments, and transfer to a teammate without switching apps.

The mobile app shares the same phone system as the Sparkforge desktop, so calls, recordings, and billing stay consistent across both.

What you can do during a call

  • DND — toggle Do Not Disturb on the contact
  • Transfer — pass the call to another teammate
  • Calendars — schedule a follow-up appointment mid-call
  • Notes — type or dictate notes that save to the contact record
  • Tasks — create and view tasks tied to the contact
  • Payments — review or log payments via the Payment Hub
  • Profile — see the full contact profile
  • Standard controls: speaker, mute, hold, keypad, end

What you can do after a call

  • Finish or edit your in-call notes
  • Schedule meetings or callbacks
  • Add follow-up tasks
  • Apply tags to organize the lead
  • View the contact's profile
  • Take next action: DND, message, or call back

Pricing and billing

Mobile calls are billed against your Sparkforge phone system usage (or Twilio, if connected) — the same per-minute rates as desktop calls. Your phone tab in the account shows usage by user.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I transfer a call from the mobile app?

How are spam calls handled?
The app flags suspected spam callers automatically with a spam label so you can avoid answering them.
What happens to missed calls?
If voicemail is configured, the contact can leave a message. You can also forward calls to your mobile so missed calls land in the app.
How is mobile calling priced?
Calls are billed against your Sparkforge phone system or connected Twilio account, the same per-minute rates as desktop calls.
