Media Optimization and Watermarking in the Mobile Social Planner

Sparkforge's mobile Social Planner now auto-formats images per platform and applies your pre-configured watermark to every post, so you can publish on-brand from your phone without external editing tools.

Two features in the Sparkforge mobile app cut the manual work out of social posting: Media Optimization resizes images to each platform's specs, and Watermarking stamps your pre-configured brand logo onto every image in a post.

What each feature does

Media Optimization

Resizes and reformats uploaded images to match Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other connected platforms automatically. The original file is untouched — optimization happens at publish time.

Watermarking

Applies your saved brand watermark to every image in the post. Watermarks must be set up in the desktop Social Planner first; once saved, they are available on mobile.

How to use both features

Open the Social Planner in the Sparkforge mobile app
Tap Create Post and upload your image(s)
Scroll to Advanced Settings
Toggle Watermark to apply your saved brand watermark
Toggle Optimize Media for Platforms to auto-format for the platforms you select
Preview the post and pick the destination platforms
Tap Publish

Watermark notes

Configure the watermark from the desktop Social Planner before you can use it on mobile
Once saved, it auto-applies to every image in a post when the toggle is on
Supports every social platform connected to the Social Planner
Can be turned on or off per post

Media Optimization notes

Supports Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other connected platforms
Prevents cropping, distortion, and platform-rejected uploads
Currently image-only — video files are not optimized

You need Sparkforge mobile app version 3.96.5 or higher. White-label app users can request an update to the latest version to enable these features.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I configure my watermark?

Watermark setup happens in the desktop Social Planner. Once configured there it becomes available in the mobile app's Advanced Settings.

Will Media Optimization change my original image file?

No. The original file in your library is untouched. Optimization happens only at the publishing step for the selected platforms.

Can I skip the watermark for specific posts?

Yes. The watermark toggle in Advanced Settings is per-post, so you can leave it off for any individual post.

Which app version do I need?

Sparkforge mobile app version 3.96.5 or higher. White-label app users should request the update through support.

Does Media Optimization work with video?

Not currently. Media Optimization handles image files only. Video files are uploaded as-is.
