How to Transfer Inbound Calls in the Sparkforge Mobile App
Sparkforge mobile lets you hand off any inbound call to another team member with a warm transfer (you stay on the line) or blind transfer (you drop immediately). Participant controls live in a slide-up sheet.
Inbound Call Transfer in the Sparkforge mobile app moves a live incoming call to another team member without ending it. Pick warm transfer to stay on the line and brief the recipient, or blind transfer to disconnect right away.
How to transfer an inbound call
- Answer the call on the Sparkforge mobile app.
- Tap Transfer in the top-right of the call screen.
- Pick the recipient from your staff list, contacts, dial pad, or recent calls.
- Choose the transfer type: Warm Transfer keeps you on the call, Blind Transfer disconnects you immediately.
- Manage participants (warm transfer only) — slide up the participant panel to leave the call, end it for everyone, or remove a teammate.
Warm transfer vs blind transfer
Warm transfer
You stay on the line so you can introduce the next agent, pass context, or supervise an escalation. Best when the receiver needs background before taking over.
Blind transfer
The call moves to the recipient and you drop. Best for quick handoffs, transfers to external numbers, or routing to voicemail.
Participant controls
The slide-up participant sheet lets you:
- View every participant on the live call.
- Leave the call without ending it for the others.
- End the entire call for all participants.
- Remove a specific teammate from the call.
Version requirement
Inbound call transfer is available on Sparkforge mobile v3.97.3 and above. White-labeled apps need to request the matching update from their provider.
