How to Migrate International Twilio Numbers to Sparkforge Phone

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

International number migrations from Twilio to Sparkforge Phone sometimes stall on regulatory requirements. Create a Twilio Regulatory Bundle and Address, request SIDs from Sparkforge Support, and file a Twilio support ticket to complete the transfer manually.

If you’re moving international Twilio numbers to Sparkforge Phone and the migration appears stuck, work through this manual process. It exists as a temporary workaround until the upgraded migration flow ships.

Step 1: Start the migration in Sparkforge

Trigger the migration through Phone Integration settings in your Sparkforge account. The status shows Migration in Progress. If it stalls, continue with the steps below — do not cancel.

Step 2: Create a Twilio Regulatory Bundle and Address

International transfers require Twilio regulatory compliance:

  1. Open the Twilio Console.
  2. Create a Regulatory Bundle for the country or region matching the phone number.
  3. Add a Regulatory Address tied to that bundle.
  4. Confirm the bundle is approved for the correct number type — Local, Mobile, or Toll-Free.

Step 3: Request SIDs from Sparkforge Support

Reach out to Sparkforge Support or your partner contact and ask for:

  • Gaining Account SID
  • Regulatory Bundle SID
  • Regulatory Address SID

Step 4: File a manual transfer ticket in Twilio

  1. Sign in to the Twilio Console.
  2. Open a support ticket requesting a number transfer from your current account to the Gaining Account SID.
  3. CC migration@sparkforgehq.com on the ticket.
  4. Include the LOA, the Bundle SID, and the Address SID in your request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my international number migration get stuck?
International transfers usually stall on Twilio’s regulatory requirements. The bundle has to be created, approved, and matched to the correct number type before the move can finish.
What SIDs do I need from Sparkforge Support?
Three: the Gaining Account SID, the Regulatory Bundle SID, and the Regulatory Address SID. Include all three in your Twilio support ticket.
Where do I file the manual transfer request?
Inside the Twilio Console as a support ticket. CC migration@sparkforgehq.com and attach your LOA, Bundle SID, and Address SID.
Do I need to cancel the in-progress migration first?
No. Leave the Sparkforge migration running. The manual Twilio steps complete the transfer the automated flow could not.
