Connect ManyChat to Sparkforge via API
Use Sparkforge's contact API to push ManyChat data into your CRM. To avoid duplicates, replace ManyChat's create-contact step with an External Request that updates the existing record.
This is an advanced integration. Sparkforge support does not troubleshoot ManyChat or custom API setups directly, but the endpoints and patterns below cover the common path.
API endpoints
- Create contact:
https://api.sparkforge.com/zapier/contact/add_update - Add or update opportunity:
https://api.sparkforge.com/zapier/contact/add_update_opportunity
Sample contact payload
{
"email": "john@example.com",
"phone": "+18887324197",
"firstName": "John",
"lastName": "Doe",
"tags": ["lead", "manychat"]
}Stop duplicate contacts from ManyChat
ManyChat creates a fresh contact every time the flow fires unless you tell it to update. Replace the default create step with an External Request that hits the Sparkforge contact endpoint with the user's email or phone — Sparkforge will match and update instead of duplicate.
