Listings Entity History and Audit Logs in Sparkforge
Entity History gives Sparkforge listings a full audit trail — every change is logged with user, timestamp, and before/after data. Access it from Settings › Audit Logs and filter by the Listings module.
Entity History adds a complete audit trail to every record in the Sparkforge Listings platform. It logs every user-initiated and system-initiated change and surfaces those events inside Audit Logs, so you can answer the three questions that matter for compliance: what changed, who changed it, and when.
What Entity History tracks
Each event includes the user ID, timestamp, entity ID, and full before-and-after state. Deletions are captured the same way — the snapshot survives even after the listing is gone. Automation- and workflow-driven changes are tagged so you can tell them apart from manual edits.
Why it matters
- Full history of edits per listing for internal audits and external compliance reviews.
- Clear user attribution by unique ID — no more "who touched this?" Slack threads.
- System vs. human changes are distinguished, so workflow side effects are visible.
- Modular logging lets new Listings features plug into the same audit stream.
How to access Entity History
- From your sub-account dashboard, click Settings in the left sidebar.
- Open Audit Logs.
- In the Module dropdown, select Listings.
- Filter by entity ID, timestamp, or user.
- Click any entity to view the full update timeline with field-level diffs.
Permissions
Only users with Audit Log access can view Entity History. If a teammate can't see it, check their role permissions before assuming the data is missing.
Limitations
Entity History logs are not currently exportable through the public API. If you need an external archive, screenshot or copy the relevant entries from the Audit Logs interface.
