Disconnect a Sub-Account from WhatsApp Coexistence in Sparkforge
Sub-accounts using WhatsApp Coexistence don't expose a disable toggle in Sparkforge. Disconnect the integration from the WhatsApp Business mobile app to break the link.
If a sub-account is connected via WhatsApp Coexistence and you can't find a disable button inside Sparkforge, the disconnect lives on the phone, not the dashboard.
Why there's no in-dashboard toggle
WhatsApp Coexistence lets a business keep using the WhatsApp Business mobile app while also routing messages through the WhatsApp Cloud API for advanced CRM features in Sparkforge. Because the mobile app owns the connection, the disable control sits on the device itself.
How to disconnect
- Open the WhatsApp Business app on the phone connected to the sub-account.
- Find the linked-services or integrations area in app settings.
- Tap the Disconnect button for the Sparkforge integration.
The sub-account will lose its Coexistence link. If you need to reconnect later, run the Coexistence onboarding again from inside Sparkforge.
When to use Coexistence vs. full Cloud API
Coexistence is for businesses that primarily use WhatsApp Business on a phone but want CRM, automation, and scaling features layered on top. If you're moving fully off the mobile app, switch to a standard WhatsApp Cloud API connection instead.
