Switch Contacts and Use Custom Values in Mobile Calendar
The Sparkforge mobile calendar now supports custom values inside the Custom meeting location field, lets you switch contacts mid-scheduling, and shows full calendar notes via View more.
Three small but useful improvements landed in the Sparkforge mobile calendar.
What changed
- Switch contacts mid-flow: change the contact while you are scheduling a new appointment, without restarting the booking.
- Custom values in meeting location: the Custom meeting location field now accepts custom values, so you can dynamically inject contact-specific addresses or links.
- Full calendar notes: notes no longer truncate. Tap View more to expand the full text.
The update is live on the Sparkforge mobile app.

Can I now change the contact halfway through booking an appointment?
Yes. Tap the contact field while scheduling and pick a different contact. Your other appointment details persist.
What custom values work in the meeting location field?
Any custom value or contact field available in the platform. This is useful for injecting per-contact Zoom links, addresses, or job-site coordinates.
Why were calendar notes getting cut off before?
Long notes were truncated for layout. The new View more control expands the full note inline so nothing is hidden.
Do I need to update the app to see these changes?
Yes. Make sure your Sparkforge mobile app is on the latest version from the App Store or Play Store.
