How to Add Multiple Email Addresses to a Contact

Many of your contacts live in more than one inbox. Sparkforge lets you keep up to 11 email addresses on a single contact record so personal, work, and project emails stay tied to one customer profile instead of fragmenting into duplicates.

How the Primary and Secondary Emails Work

• One primary email per contact — used for campaigns, automation, and any manual email sent from Sparkforge.
• Up to 10 secondary emails stored on the same contact for reference and future support.
• Secondary emails are not used for outbound sending today.

Add Email Addresses Manually

1. Open Contacts and click the contact you want to edit.
2. Click the Contact tab and scroll to the Email Address field.
3. Click Add Another Email, enter the address, then click Save Changes.
4. Repeat up to ten times. The Add Email button disappears once the contact is at the 11-email cap.

Set the Primary Email

1. Scroll to the Email Address section on the contact record.
2. Click the star icon next to the address you want as primary.
3. The star fills in to confirm. All future campaigns and automation emails route to that address.

Import Multiple Emails by CSV

For bulk loads, add extra columns to your CSV — one column per additional email. During import, map each column to a Sparkforge email field. Sparkforge stores the first address as primary unless you override it on the mapping screen.

Merge Duplicate Contacts Without Losing Emails

When you merge two contacts, every unique email from both records is kept on the surviving contact. The primary email of the surviving record stays primary; the merged contact's emails become secondaries.
