How to Import Stripe Products into Sparkforge SaaS Configurator

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The SaaS Configurator can import existing Stripe products and link active Stripe subscriptions to Sparkforge sub-accounts. The feature is in beta — enable it under Agency Settings, Labs.

If you already sell on Stripe and want to move to SaaS Mode, the SaaS Configurator can import your Stripe products and map active subscriptions to sub-accounts so existing clients are not disrupted.

Before You Start

This is a beta feature. Enable it under Agency Settings → Labs → Import Stripe Products into SaaS Configurator first. The import is available for Legacy/V1 SaaS only.

Step 1: Import Products from Stripe

  1. Open SaaS Configurator → Create Plan.
  2. Click Import from Stripe in the top right.
  3. Search for the product by name.
  4. Select the product and confirm. The details import into the Configurator.
  5. Finish the rest of the plan setup:
    • Category and hierarchy (used for upgrade paths).
    • Pricing (Sparkforge creates new price IDs).
    • Features, snapshots, trials, and rebilling.
  6. Save the plan.

Step 2: Link Existing Stripe Subscriptions to Sub-Accounts

  1. From Agency View open Sub-Accounts → Manage Client.
  2. Open the SaaS tab.
  3. Click Add a SaaS Subscription.
  4. Choose Stripe as the payment provider.
  5. In the Request Client Payment Details modal, pick Link Existing Customer in Stripe.
  6. Choose the customer profile that already has an active subscription.
  7. Select the subscription from the right-hand panel and confirm to enable SaaS on the sub-account.

What to Expect

  • Importing a product does not carry over the original Stripe price IDs. The Configurator generates new ones.
  • Existing clients are not disrupted. Their subscriptions can be mapped without re-billing or asking them to re-enter card details.
  • The feature is currently scoped to Legacy/V1 SaaS. Confirm your account is on V1 before relying on it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I turn on the Stripe import?
Go to Agency Settings, Labs, and enable Import Stripe Products into SaaS Configurator. The Import from Stripe button then appears in the Configurator.
Are existing client subscriptions disrupted by the import?
No. Existing subscriptions stay live in Stripe. You map them to Sparkforge sub-accounts in the SaaS tab without re-billing or asking clients to re-enter their card.
Do my Stripe price IDs come over?
No. The import generates new price IDs in Sparkforge. Existing subscriptions continue to use their original Stripe price IDs until you migrate them.
Does this work on V2 SaaS?
Not yet. The Stripe import is scoped to Legacy/V1 SaaS. Confirm your SaaS version before enabling the lab.
Can I import every product at once?
Imports happen one product at a time so you can review fields, set the category, and configure features per plan before saving.
