How to Delete a WhatsApp Phone Number in Sparkforge
Open Settings > WhatsApp, click the three dots next to the number, choose Delete, then confirm with your password. The number is unlinked permanently and cannot be recovered.
Deleting a WhatsApp phone number removes it from your Sparkforge WhatsApp setup. The account itself stays active if you have other numbers attached, but the deleted number can't send or receive messages until you re-register it.
Steps to delete a WhatsApp number
- Go to Settings and select WhatsApp.
- Click the three dots next to the number you want to delete and choose Delete.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Delete again.
- Enter your password and tap Delete to finalize.
Before you delete
If you plan to re-register the number later, back up your chats first — chat history doesn't migrate when you re-register.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does deleting a number delete my whole WhatsApp account?

Can I recover a deleted WhatsApp number?
No. Deletion is permanent. To use the number again you have to re-register it from scratch.
Do I need a password to delete a number?
Yes. Sparkforge requires your password on the final step for security.
Should I back up chats before deleting?
If you plan to re-register the number later and want to keep history, back up chats before deletion.
What stops working after deletion?
You can no longer send or receive WhatsApp messages on that specific number until it's re-registered.
