Customize Group Navigation Tabs in Sparkforge Communities

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Group admins can show or hide Learning, Events, Leaderboard, and Members tabs per group in Sparkforge Communities. Discussion and About stay on so the group remains functional and discoverable.

Group admins control which navigation tabs appear in each Sparkforge Community Group. Build discussion-only spaces, learning-first hubs, or event-driven communities by hiding what doesn't belong.

How tab customization works

Two core tabs, Discussion and About, are always on so groups stay functional and discoverable. The other supported tabs can be shown or hidden per group.

  • Scope: settings apply per group, not globally across all groups.
  • Effect: changes take effect immediately for all members of that group.

Tabs you can show or hide

  • Discussion (mandatory): share updates, ideas, and conversations. Cannot be disabled.
  • Learning: create and manage courses for members. Optional.
  • Events: plan and view sessions, workshops, and meetups. Optional.
  • Leaderboard: recognize top members through rankings. Optional.
  • Members: manage members and roles. Even when disabled, this stays visible to admins so member management is always accessible.
  • About (mandatory): introduce the community's purpose and background. Cannot be disabled.
