How to Build a White-Label Community in Sparkforge
Communities in Sparkforge live inside the Client Portal, so white-labeling means setting a custom domain on the portal and then creating the community under Memberships.
How communities are scoped
A community in Sparkforge runs inside the Client Portal. White-labeling a community means white-labeling the Client Portal domain that hosts it.
Step 1: Open the subaccount
- Sign in to Sparkforge.
- Switch to the subaccount where the community will live.
- Go to Membership > Communities.
Step 2: Set the custom domain
- Open Community Settings > Domains.
- Add a custom domain or subdomain, for example
community.yourdomain.com. - Update DNS at your registrar to point the record to Sparkforge as instructed.
Because communities sit inside the Client Portal, the domain you configure is the Client Portal domain. Members will see your branding instead of a default Sparkforge URL.
Step 3: Create the community
Once the domain resolves, create the community itself under Membership and configure groups, channels, and access rules. Member invitations and login redirects automatically use the white-label domain.
Notes for agencies
If you run a SaaS Mode agency setup, each subaccount can carry its own community domain. That keeps each client's community fully under their brand even though the platform underneath is shared.
