How to Create Pipelines in Sparkforge: Step-by-Step
To create a pipeline in Sparkforge, go to Opportunities > Pipelines, click Create new pipeline, name it, and add stages. Won and Lost stages are added automatically. You can color-code stages and control which ones show up in dashboards.
Pipelines organize and automate your sales or service workflow by tracking opportunities through defined stages. Here's how to create one and configure it.
Updated Pipelines experience (Labs)
The Pipelines page uses the HighRise design system for a faster, more intuitive experience. Enable it from Sub-account > Labs.
Step 1: Open the Pipelines section
- Go to your sub-account.
- Click Opportunities in the left sidebar.
- Select Pipelines from the top nav.
Step 2: Create a new pipeline
- Click Create new pipeline in the top right.
- Enter a descriptive Pipeline Name.
- Click Save.
Pipeline names must be unique within a sub-account.
Step 3: Add and manage stages
Define the stages that make up your workflow:
- Enter a Stage Name.
- Click Add stage for each additional stage.
- Repeat until your full flow is defined.
To manage stages:
- Reorder with the up and down arrows.
- Toggle reporting visibility with the funnel and pie chart icons.
- Delete with the trash icon.
Stage names must be unique within the pipeline. Won and Lost stages are added automatically — you don't need to create them manually.
Step 4: Color-code stages
Assign colors so stages are easy to scan across views.
- Open a pipeline.
- Go to the Stages tab.
- Pick a color for each stage.
Choose how the color shows up: default (no color), colored dot, or background tint. Stage colors appear on Kanban view, list view, opportunity cards, and the contact details view.
Step 5: Delete a stage without losing opportunities
- Open the pipeline.
- Click the delete icon next to the stage.
- Pick a destination stage for existing opportunities.
- Confirm.
All opportunities from the deleted stage move to the destination automatically.
Step 6: Configure dashboard visibility
Control how pipeline data appears in opportunity dashboards.
- Toggle pipeline visibility in funnel charts.
- Toggle visibility in pie charts.
- Configure stage-level visibility with the icons next to each stage.
