How to Bulk Manage SaaS Sub-Accounts in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge Bulk Actions lets agency admins enable SaaS mode, pause sub-accounts, and audit history across many sub-accounts at once — instead of editing each account by hand.

Bulk Actions let agency admins configure many sub-accounts in one pass: enable SaaS mode, pause billing or access, and review what ran. If you manage more than a handful of sub-accounts, this is where you save the most time.

Enable SaaS Mode in Bulk

Step 1: Select sub-accounts

Open Sub-Accounts from the agency sidebar. Filter or search to narrow the list, then check the accounts you want — or use Select All.

Click the Bulk Actions dropdown and choose Enable SaaS.

Step 2: Choose a payment provider

Pick your default Stripe connection or Other Payment Providers. Sparkforge will create a new customer profile for each selected sub-account. If you pick another provider, choose the agency sub-account that owns SaaS billing.

Step 3: Pick the SaaS subscription plan

A plan must be selected for SaaS mode to activate. Click Show Full Details in the plan modal to confirm rebilling rates, included add-ons, marketplace apps, and custom menu links. Clients still need to add a payment method before the plan fully takes effect.

Pause Sub-Accounts in Bulk

Step 1: Initiate the pause

From Sub-Accounts, filter on activity or plan status, select the accounts, then choose Bulk Actions → Pause Sub-Accounts.

Step 2: Set pause preferences

  • Pause active subscriptions — stops further billing.
  • Keep charging the clients — pauses access but continues billing.
  • Phone numbers & A2P — optionally disconnect and delete numbers and campaigns to avoid usage charges.

If you leave phone accounts connected, you may still incur usage charges while paused.

View Bulk Action History

Open the Bulk Action History screen under Sub-Accounts to see every recent bulk job: action type, date, user, and status. Click any row to drill into per-sub-account results, including failures and reasons.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a SaaS plan selected to enable SaaS mode in bulk?
Yes. The Bulk Actions flow requires a subscription plan before SaaS mode activates on selected sub-accounts.
What happens if I pause a sub-account but leave phone numbers connected?
Pausing access alone does not stop phone usage. To avoid call, SMS, or A2P charges, disconnect or delete numbers and campaigns during the pause flow.
Can I keep billing clients while their access is paused?
Yes. Choose 'Keep charging the clients' in the pause preferences. Sub-account access is paused but the SaaS subscription keeps running.
Where do I see which sub-accounts a bulk action failed on?
Bulk Action History lists every job. Click into a row for per-sub-account success or failure status and the reason for any failures.
