How to Set Up SaaS Mode in Sparkforge: From Zero to First Sale
Sparkforge SaaS Mode lets agencies resell the platform under their own brand. The setup runs in order: agency account, sub-accounts, phone, white-label domain, premium features, payments, then SaaS plans.
SaaS Mode turns Sparkforge into a white-label platform you resell to clients. Branding, billing, and provisioning all flow through your agency account, and clients see only your brand. Setup is sequential — skip a step and the next one usually breaks.
What SaaS Mode does
SaaS-as-a-service: clients sign up under your brand, get a Sparkforge sub-account provisioned automatically, and pay you on a recurring subscription. Sparkforge stays invisible. You set the price, the feature mix, and the snapshots that load on day one.
Setup order
- Agency account. Activate your agency-level account before doing anything else. Pricing, billing, and white-label settings live here.
- Agency sub-account. Create at least one sub-account so you have a place to test settings. Add the client's logo before going further.
- Phone system. Activate the phone system at agency and sub-account levels. Review pricing and the trust center before porting numbers.
- White-label domain. Point a custom domain at the platform so clients see your brand in the URL. Set up the API domain URL the same way to brand system-generated links.
- Desktop app white-label. Brand the desktop client so installers carry your name.
- Premium features. Enable and rebill Content AI, Workflow AI, and premium triggers and actions you plan to charge for.
- Template Library. Decide which templates ship with each plan.
- Payment provider. Connect Stripe at the agency level. Stripe is the supported processor for SaaS plans.
- SaaS plans. Use the SaaS Configurator to create plans, set pricing, attach snapshots, and enable rebilling.
- Sale link. Generate the sale link from the configurator and put it on your site or in your funnel.
Common troubleshooting
Currency mismatch
If you see Invalid price currency, check SaaS Configurator → Advanced Settings, then make sure the Stripe price currency matches. Stripe blocks currency changes on prices that already have active subscriptions or generated sale links — create a new price instead.
Duplicate sale links
If a sale link already exists for the SaaS product, Sparkforge returns the existing URL rather than creating a duplicate.
Snapshots not loading on new sub-accounts
Snapshots only attach to plans, not after the fact. If a client subscribed before you added a snapshot, you have to load it manually.
