Enable Listings Without Billing Clients in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Open the sub-account, go to Reselling, then Listings. Tick the agreement box under Deploy Listings Directly and click Pay Now. The agency covers the cost; the client never sees the bill.

You can run Sparkforge Listings for a client without rebilling them. The agency covers the directory listing cost, the client gets consistent presence across directories, and pricing stays bundled into your packaged offer.

When to deploy Listings without rebilling

  • Listings is included in a packaged service the client already pays for.
  • You manage the brand on their behalf and want pricing to stay invisible.
  • Listings is part of a premium tier where line items would dilute the offer.

Step 1: Open the sub-account

From agency view, open Sub-Accounts in the left navigation. Find the sub-account, click the three-dot menu in the lower right of its row, and choose Manage Client.

Step 2: Open Listings under Reselling

In the top ribbon, click Reselling. In the left navigation, click Listings.

Step 3: Deploy Listings Directly

Scroll to the Deploy Listings Directly section. Read the deployment terms, tick the agreement box, and click the blue Pay Now! button. The agency credit card on file is charged.

Switching to a resell model later

You can move to a rebill model from the same Listings tab. Enable the resell option, set your markup, and the client starts paying directly on their next billing cycle.

Cancellation rules

Listings has a one-month minimum commitment. After the first month you can cancel any time from the same Reselling → Listings tab.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the client see the Listings charge?
No. When you deploy directly, the agency pays. The client sees Listings activity but never a line item for it.
Can I switch to billing the client later?
Yes. Open the same Reselling → Listings tab, enable the resell option, and set pricing. The client starts paying on their next cycle.
What is the minimum commitment?
One month. After that, cancel any time from the same Listings tab inside Reselling.
Does Deploy Listings Directly require client approval?
No. The agency owns the agreement. The client benefits from consistent listings without ever signing up for the service themselves.
