How to Change Your Community Group Theme in Sparkforge
Sparkforge community admins can change a group's theme from Settings > Themes. Choose a preset, switch between light and dark mode, or build a custom palette by editing colors for buttons, backgrounds, fonts, and borders.
Sparkforge community groups can be themed to match your brand. Admins and owners pick a preset theme, switch between light and dark mode, or build a fully custom palette. Themes apply to the web view only — the mobile app uses its own styling.
Turn on themes in Labs
Themes ship behind a Labs flag. Enable it in your Labs settings before the Themes panel appears.
Open theme settings
- Open the community group.
- Click the right sidebar and select Settings at the bottom.
- Choose Themes from the sidebar.
Pick a preset theme
In the Themes section, switch between Light Mode and Dark Mode using the buttons at the top, then scroll the preset list. Click a theme to apply it. If you run multiple groups, use a different theme on each so members can tell them apart at a glance.
Build a custom theme
Open the Custom Themes tab. Customize Light Mode and Dark Mode separately and save each. Click any swatch to open the picker or paste a hex code.
| Option | What it changes |

Click Save after every change or your edits will not stick.
What members see
Members see whichever theme the admin chose. They can still toggle between Light and Dark Mode in their own Settings.
