Bulk Rebilling Markup Setup for Sub-Accounts

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Bulk Rebilling lets agencies apply rebilling markups to dozens or hundreds of Sparkforge sub-accounts at once instead of editing each one. Markups stick on file even before a client adds a card.

Bulk Rebilling Markup Configuration applies rebilling rules across multiple Sparkforge sub-accounts in a single action. Set Phone, Email, and AI markups once and roll them out to every selected account instead of clicking through them one by one.

Why Bulk Rebilling Matters for Agencies

  • Time: Skip per-account edits across dozens or hundreds of sub-accounts.
  • Margin consistency: Every client gets the same markup logic, so margins stay predictable.
  • Scale: Push pricing changes to your full client base in minutes.
  • Fewer errors: Centralized settings remove mismatched or forgotten markups.
  • Faster onboarding: Pair with automated SaaS provisioning to launch new clients quickly.

Bulk Action History

Every bulk job is logged in Bulk Action History with status, details, and (where supported) re-run or roll-back. Open it from the clock icon next to the Bulk Actions button on the Sub-Accounts page.

Configure Bulk Rebilling Markups

Step 1: Select Sub-Accounts

  1. From the Agency Dashboard, click Sub-Accounts.
  2. Check the box next to each account you want to update. Use filters or Select All for large batches.

Step 2: Choose the Bulk Action

  1. Click Bulk Actions in the upper right.
  2. Pick Enable Rebilling from the dropdown.

Step 3: Choose a Payment Provider

In the popup, select your connected provider (Stripe, etc.) and click Continue. If nothing is connected yet, set that up first.

Step 4: Configure Markups

  • The Configure Rebilling Services modal lists each usage-based service (Phone, Email, AI, etc.).
  • Drag the global slider to apply one multiplier to every service.
  • Or adjust each service slider individually for fine-grained pricing.
  • Click the arrow next to a service to view its rate breakdown.

Step 5: Confirm

Review the summary showing how many sub-accounts will be updated, then click Enable Rebilling.

Step 6: Verify Activation

  • Sub-accounts with a card on file activate immediately at the new markups.
  • Sub-accounts without a card get a customer profile created with your provider. Rebilling kicks in once the admin adds a card.

Best Practices

  • Double-check markup percentages against your overall pricing strategy before applying.
  • Audit markups periodically so all sub-accounts stay aligned with current policy.
  • Pair bulk rebilling with standardized onboarding SOPs for new sub-accounts.
  • Remember: bulk configuration overwrites existing custom markups on selected accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I adjust a sub-account's markup individually after a bulk run?
Yes. You can override the bulk-applied markup on any single sub-account at any time.
What happens to sub-accounts that already have custom markups?
Bulk configuration overwrites existing markups on the selected accounts. Exclude them from the bulk run if you want to keep their custom rates.
Can I disable rebilling in bulk too?
No. The current bulk action is for enabling and configuring markups. Disabling rebilling has to be done per sub-account.
Will rebilling activate for clients without a card?
Markup settings are saved immediately. Rebilling auto-activates the moment the sub-account admin adds a payment method.
Where can I see what changed in a past bulk run?
Open Bulk Action History from the clock icon next to Bulk Actions on the Sub-Accounts page. It shows the status, scope, and result of every bulk job.
